Young and driven Kola Reserve Team has made it its purpose to create for its Guests an uncompromising experience in service, comfort and fishing for Atlantic Salmon. Creating the operation from the ground up, we focused on finding the best international team, to shape the resort with its camp traditions and fishing practices for the future generations.

Anna Ochkovskaya
CEOBorn in Ukraine, grew up on Yamal in Novy Urengoy. Lives in St. Petersburg.
She was educated at the Pushkin Leningrad State University in St. Petersburg with a degree in Social and Cultural Services and Tourism. For 17 years in the profession, she headed hotels in St. Petersburg, Anapa, Savonlinna (Finland), 5 start-ups from a hostel to a premium class hotel of a large company. Certified profiler-verifier.

Arina Shmoilova
Travel managerI was born in Chelyabinsk, and at the age of 18 I moved to St. Petersburg, where I lived for three years, then went for an internship in Dubai.
Received a bachelor's degree in International Hospitality Management at Swissam International University.
I have been working in the hotel industry for more than three years: from an administrator at Solo Sokos Vasilievsky to a revenue manager at Port Comfort in St. Petersburg. I am currently continuing my professional journey at Shangri-La in Dubai, creating special experiences for guests and recently joined Kola Reserve.
My goal is to continue to grow as a professional and bring joy to my guests.

Alexander Ochkovsky
Head of the Lumbovka campBorn in Ukraine, youth was spent in Novy Urengoy, Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous Okrug. Lives in St. Petersburg. Education and extensive experience in the field of hospitality, restaurant business and management. For many years he shined in hotels, holding senior positions in management.
A musician by vocation, a manager in life - these two components ensure rich and high-quality work of Kola reserve. Fishing has been my hobby all my life. And now the favorite hobby and favorite work have united and bring real pleasure to Alexander and the guests of Kola reserve.

Head chefBorn in Pyatigorsk, he received his chef's education there. He has been working as a chef since 2006 in the best restaurants of the Caucasian Mineralnye Vody. Chief engineerAlexander literally built the camp with his own hands from the very beginning. He lives in the camp every season and monitors its life support. Sasha is the person without whom the camp would not be able to exist in its previous form.

Stanislav Vyazankin
Head guideFor more than 15 years he has been fly fishing for Atlantic salmon. Fished in Finland, Sweden, Norway, England in the rivers of Karelia and the Leningrad region. He learned how to fish for Salmon from the famous inventor of the Underhand fly casting, Göran Anderson.
Won prize-winning places in fly-casting competitions. The largest salmon is 114 cm from the Kola river and 104 cm from the Lumbovka river. Owns all fly-casting devices with one-handed and two-handed rods. Great experience teaching beginners and experienced fly fishers. Independently knits flies for salmon fishing. Since 2019 he has been working as a fishing guide.

Dmitry Deryagin
GuideBorn in September 1984 in the city of Severodvinsk (Arkhangelsk region), where he lives. Higher technical education. He has been fond of fishing since childhood, fly fishing since 2013. In addition to fly fishing, he is engaged in tourism and hunting. He likes to teach fly fishing beginners and improve the level of fly fishing technique. Since 2016 he has been working as a guide on the Kola Peninsula

Yuri Skovorodnikov
ChefOur chef Yuri Skovorodnikov chose his professional path at an early age. "Cooking is not just my job, it is also my passion," says Yuri, and this is felt in every aspect of his work.
He started his career in Stavropol, continued in Pyatigorsk as a senior cook and then a sous chef, constantly learning and refining various techniques.
A real source of inspiration for Yuri was working in a Georgian cuisine restaurant in Krasnodar and the opportunity to explore the recipes reflecting the richness and diversity of the culinary traditions of the Caucasus.
After almost 20 years in the profession, Yuri continues to evolve as a culinary expert, tirelessly striving for new achievements in developing of his cooking mastery.

Amin Aminov
Sous chefOur sous chef Amin Aminov has been a cooking enthusiast from an early age. After graduating from high school, he decided to devote his life to culinary art. Amin has been doing the work he loves for almost 15 years now. He claims that his passion for cooking and striving for perfection make him a happy person. He gained extensive experience and mastered his skill working in the restaurants of Moscow, Pyatigorsk and Kazan. He got acquainted with rich culinary traditions and techniques of Turkish cuisine while working in Istanbul. At his most recent position as a sous chef at a Caucasian restaurant in Krasnodar, Amin has expanded his culinary portfolio with the dishes inspired by the rich cuisine of the Caucasus.

Pyotr Maltsev
GuideMeet Pyotr Maltsev. By the way, in 2022 Pyotr worked as a guide on the Olenka river. Pyotr was born in a village in the Arkhangelsk region of Russia on a bank of a salmon river with a fishing rod in his hands. An engineer by education and an angler by vocation, he has been involved in fly fishing since 2010 and has participated in numerous casting competitions. He has been working as a guide on the Kola peninsula since 2017.

Born and raised on the banks of the Onega River, renowned for holding the world's largest Atlantic salmon. Maksim has been involved in fly fishing for more than 20 years. He ties his own salmon flies and collects unique fly fishing rods. He is also a professional photographer.

Head GuideBorn in Murmansk. Higher education, MSTU. Lives in two cities - Murmansk and St. Petersburg. Fishing since early childhood, fell in love with fly fishing since 2017. She is knitting flies. He himself fished on almost all the rivers of the Kola.

Dmitry Mikhailov

Our guide Dmitry Mikhailov was born in Tver. Dmitry is a power engineer by education, but fishing has been his real passion since childhood.
His record includes 30 years spin fishing on Russia’s rivers and also sea fishing. His experience in fly fishing for salmon, sea trout and grayling is 13 years.
“Some 15 years ago my soul grew attached to the rivers of the Kola Peninsula. That’s where I fell in love with fly fishing,” says Dmitry.
He has also worked as a guide on the Kotuy and its tributaries, the incredibly picturesque Siberian rivers abundant in salmon trout (taimen).
Dmitry is well acquainted with fish habits, and he makes his own flies.

Vyacheslav Rossov
GuideMaster of Arts in Fly Fishing. Vyacheslav has been a salmon angler since 2000 and a fly fisher since 2007. He is a keen fan of surf flies, Bombers and dry flies. He has been working as a guide since 2014 on such rivers as the Kola, Kitsa, Zapadnaya Litsa, Varzina and Drozdovka.

Dmitry Chernigovsky
GuideDmitry is 35 years old. He has been involved in spin fishing and studying fishing equipment since childhood.
Over time, his love for fishing evolved from a mere hobby to a way of life. In 2023 he got an excellent experience as an Atlantic salmon angling guide on the Yokanga River and decided to pursue this path, refining and honing his skills.
Dmitry’s twenty years of experience in the art of fishing and his ability to pass on his knowledge competently to others will be of value to both beginners and experienced anglers!

Everyone who is going to Olenka will be familiar in person. Andrey was born and raised in St. Petersburg, married and raising sons. He loves travelling and learning.

Stanislav Voronkov

Our chef Stanislav Voronkov is short-spoken: "I’m 38. I decided to become a cook at the age of 7 and I’ve stayed on the same track ever since."
During 20 years in the profession, Stanislav has worked in a number of prestigious restaurant venues in the major Russian cities.
He is savvy about the highly nuanced restaurant business. He knows how to impeccably organize all aspects of the kitchen operation.
But he is not chatty about it. According to Stanislav, "when cooking becomes a lifestyle, you don't talk about it, you just try it all."
His heart belongs to the French cuisine and cooking techniques, whereas his soul resonates with the Asian taste and traditions.

Paulo Hoffman
Head guidePaulo Hoffman is a skill-full Head Guide. He has been fishing since the age of 10 and by now has experienced fly fishing all around the world, from Amazon to Seychelles. At the Kola Reserve, Paulo is responsible for the rotations, based on analysis of the water levels and salmon runs.

Tobias Park
GuideTobias was born and raised in Denmark. Since age 3 when his dad brought him along salmon fishing for the first time, the obsession of fly fishing has grown to be the center of his existence. Tobias has worked as a fly fishing guide in Denmark, Scotland and Argentina. His search for salmon, sea trout and tropical species, has covered some of the most remote places on earth, on destination operations as well as long expeditions. As he was part of the original scouting team back in 2019 we are truly happy to have him here with us.

Stephan Dombaj
GuideDombaj is a 29-year-old German fly fishing photographer of Croatian descent living and operating in this time and place. He’s the driving force behind the social media behemoth Fly Fishing Nation. From guiding full time, he transitioned into photography and now, shooting for major international brands, Dombaj produces impeccable "content" that your average weekend warrior would spend a lifetime trying to capture. I’m sure you’ve seen his pics. His shooting style is Annie Leibovitz in the boardroom, but Terry Richardson in his heart of hearts. Bouncing between Cologne (FFN HQ) and London (where there’s a lot of business), Dombaj spoke to The Mission about photography, the similarities between surfing and fly fishing.
